IM BACK!!!!!!!!

To all my lovely hair friends :) I'm back! I have been back since the 15th of September and I am now just getting around to telling you all that I am here and ready for your hair needs.  My loyal clients have kept me very busy and I am starting to see some availability again.  If your not on my schedule for the upcoming holiday season, make your reservation soon.I am now available 4 days a week. For those of you that I haven't seen, we are now a happy healthy family of 3. My husband of 10 years, John and I welcomed Zoë Ann Carlson on June 28, 2011 at 10:21pm via c-section (not planned). She weighed 6lbs 14oz and was 19 1/4". We are adapting to our new life as a family.  I am in love with being a mother, who knew you could love something so much. It has been incredible watching her grow and change in the past months and I am truly blessed to have had the time off to get to know her. I feel very lucky to have so many wonderful clients that are also amazing mothers that can help me on my new path of motherhood! I look forward to seeing you all back in the chair. Lets enter this holiday season looking our best and get 2012 started off looking and feeling great!

THANK YOU!

I just wanted to take a minute to thank all of you for your thoughtful words, wishes and gifts!   I cant wait, a long with many other people, to see what her sweet little face looks like.  I cant wait to look into her eyes and see myself and my husband John.  We are both really looking forward to becoming parents and starting a new chapter in our lives!  For those of you that don't know.  John and I have been together ever since high school ( I was 16 when we started dating).  We will have been married 10 years this coming September and so we are definitely ready to shake things up a bit!  This will be the first grandchild on both sides as well, so both sets of grandparents are equally excited!  I know that some of  you follow my blog posts and are not on Facebook so I will post some information and some photos when I get back and settled from the hospital.  We are 2 weeks out from the due date now........tick-tock!
I hope that all of you enjoy your summer!  I will be back on September 13th :)

Hair Appointment Needs.......

I have heard from the receptionists that a lot of you that wanted to get in for an appointment before I left on maternity and are trying to get one now with out any luck, are wondering what to do.......
If you have liked my new home at Mezzanine Salon, I have sat down with both of the owners Jonny and Stephanie, they are going to step in and take care of all you beauties :)  They have all of my color formulas to keep your color right on track, unless you need a change up :)  Of course they are amazing stylists and have been doing hair for a long time , they will do a great job in my absence. I am sorry to those of you that I will not be able to accommodate but I will see you in the fall. We will have plenty to catch up on.  Enjoy the summer :)

Before I go.....

Hello to you all.  Just wanted to get a post on here before the big day happens.....this pregnancy has just flown by! I cant believe that little miss Zoë will be joining John and I sometime in the next 5 weeks or so.  Most of you all know that my last day will be on June 18 (unless otherwise notified) and I will be back the 3rd week in September.  I know that it is hard to get an appointment with me right now and can not accommodate everyone that will want to get in before I go.  I can certainly give you a referral to someone if you need it, just let me know.  I will be leaving all of your color formulas behind, so if you have liked what we have been doing the person taking care of you can just follow what we have done.  I have really enjoyed this pregnancy but am ready for it to come to an end and take on this next step in our lives!  Have a great summer everyone and I look forward to getting you fall ready in September!

Finally some sunshine!

Hello to all of my hair following friends! How magical was it to wake up to the beautiful sun shining this morning?! Hopefully no more freezing days......fingers and toes crossed!
I know many of you like to brighten up that color when welcoming warmer weather and the length often comes up a bit too :) just want to make you all aware that I will be here until the 18th of June tentatively and my days are filling up fast! Happy Spring Beauties!

As this crazy long snowy winter parts us, thank god, we need to get ourselves looking good to step back out into the world!  One of my dear clients Jill Dahler was in the other day to get her hair colored for her birthday and she made a great comment, "We all take such good care of our face, why don't people take care of what frames it?" I thought it was a great point and shouldn't go unspoken!
I know that everyone is ready for a spring clean up, (whether its a cut, color or foil) I will take care of you!  There are so many cute cuts and colors in style right now.  Wearing a more classic shape that holds a bit of thickness in it rather than the thin over textured cuts are whats right now.  Did you see Brooklyn Deckers new crop? So cute and a perfect example :) Come in and see me and we can find your perfect new cut and color to make you feel fabulous!
